Disappointing. Hotel was a disappointment. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful but one night the staff member seemed more interested in chatting to his friend. Rooms definitely need up dating and there was only one very slow lift. Also if you go on a bus tour be aware that it quite a walk to the pick up point. This was an especial nuisance on the day we left as we had to drag our cases for 25 minutes to get to the coach.. .

All Right Stay in Canmore. Bed was small and air conditioning was noisy. Didn't like the placement of bathroom door as it made it impossible to pass from living area to bedroom when open. Elevator was slow. Hotel though was nice enough for a few nights and seemed clean. Accomodations in Banff/Canmore are expensive.. .

A Great View to Greet us.. The location was great on the main road, which made it easy to find. We had a mountain room with a great view of the Three Sisters Mountains. The complementary coffee in the lobby was terrific. We weren't expecting that. The fridge was a good size - a little larger than the typical mini fridge. The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff warned us about the closeness of the train tracks, but it was not an issue. The outdoor hot tub was nice.. There was noise above us after 10 pm as well as in the hallway. They told us there was construction in the building, but we weren't expecting it late at night. Everything else was great..
